About Us

Aron and Jeanne Friedman are a British husband and wife design and build team who discovered their mutual love of property developing early on. As a successful couple in the UK music and TV industry they invested wisely in the London and Surrey commercial and residential property market, always looking for ways to add value. Truly passionate about property they became more ‘hands on’ in 2007 when they embarked on their first new build in affluent Surrey, literally doing much of the physical work themselves as well as researching and resourcing all the materials and craftsmen along the way, truly the best learning curve!

In 2010 Jeanne and Aron featured in the prestigious Build It magazine in an eight-page article which focused on their plight to build on greenbelt land with huge restrictions on footprint, bulk and design. Overcoming these challenges with great success they sold the property and then re-developed and extended a house on the half-acre site next door, which they then lived in for a year before relocating to LA in 2011.eTheir first US build in Sherman Oaks presented them with a whole new set of issues, firstly ‘earthquakes’ which was something obviously of no relevance in the UK, also the lot was somewhat smaller so the design had to be clever to maximize the use of space both inside and out.  Enlisting the help of renowned architect Ryan Perella and structural engineer David Sayah to help realize Jeanne and Aron’s vision they delivered a property highly acclaimed in both design and interior finishes. It was no surprise that the house sold within weeks with multiple offers.  From there they quickly went on to complete re-models with additions in Calabasas and West Hills and a grand refurbishment of a 7 bedroom, 7 bath, 6,000sf house with separate guest house in Tarzana.  Their latest completed development is a stunning, modern, single-story house, with new construction addition and extensive remodel in Woodland Hills.  Including a lush back yard with new pool, spa and outdoor kitchen.  Aron and Jeanne love having a real mixture of projects, some with their own Pure Jam Properties company alongside private investors, partnered projects and various client projects.  They have built up an impressive client list with their general contractor business and numerous projects all over LA.
